Why is my order stuck in "PROCESSING?"

Why Is My Order Taking Longer Than Expected?

At Pelipost, we work hard to get your photos printed and delivered as quickly as possible. However, there are a couple of points in the process where your facility plays a role, and these can sometimes cause delays that are outside of our control.

Pre-Screening by Your Facility
Some facilities, including those under contract with Pelipost such as Iowa DOC and Utah DOC, require that orders be reviewed before we begin production at our fulfillment center. If your order appears to be stuck in processing, it may be waiting on your facility to complete this step. While this can add 1–2 business days to your order timeline, we're grateful that these facilities take this extra measure — it reduces the chance of returned mail and helps ensure your photos are successfully delivered to your loved one.

Photo Review Upon Delivery
After your photos arrive at the facility, staff will review them before delivering them to your loved one. This also takes some time, but may be delayed depending on the facility's staffing and mail volume at the time.

If you have questions about your order status, our support team is happy to help, but please keep in mind that facility timelines are set by the facility and may vary.
